ZOO RUNS

Take a 10 km or 5 km run through the incredible Monarto Safari Park before it’s open to the public. Listen to the morning chorus of African Wildlife and have a quick stop at each enclosure if you’re not targeting a personal best.

• Start Time: 07:45 am

• Finishes at: Monarto Safari Park Visitor Centre

• Cut off time: 09:45

• Entry Limits: 150

Toilets will be open at the Monarto Safari Park. Aid station and toilets are at approximately 4.7km along the course, outside the Old Visitor centre. Spectators are welcome free of charge at the new visitor centre at the Start/Finish Line but cannot enter the Safari Park. We are a cup free event, please bring your own hydration device.

The Zoo Five (5.8km) run/walk starts and finishes at Monarto Safari Park and is a loop course which also finishes at the Start Line. There are no finisher medals in this distance. Toilets will be open at Monarto Safari Park. Water fountain and toilets are at approximately 2km into the course, outside the Boma Rhino bus station and enclosure. Spectators are welcome free of charge at the new Visitor Centre at the Start/Finish Line but cannot enter the Safari Park. We are a cup free event, please bring your own hydration device.
